5 ways you should be procrastinating

  1. Keep hydrated - challenge yourself to drink at least 2 litres of water a day. This will also help with the next point…
  2. Make sure you’re moving at least every hour. Walk around the library, stretch or dance a little to keep your brain engaged. Your work will make more sense, trust us.
  3. Eat – your brain literally can’t function when it’s hungry, science says so.
  4. Chat – discussing your ideas with friends can help you develop your ideas as you justify your reasons. Speaking your ideas out loud can also help your own understanding and give structure to your essay.
  5. Take some ‘me’ time – the best ideas don’t come from staring at a blank Word document. If your mind won’t stop wandering, get up and go for a walk. Fresh air + exercise = better marks.
